2025 was a milestone year for us! We celebrated 25 years of making joyful music for kids and families—and released two albums. Baby Rhino, our 14th studio album, arrived in September as the spirited, rockin' companion to Sunny Side Up.
I challenged myself to reconnect with my youngest audience, tapping back into the energy and wonder of those early years when my own kids were little. The result is an eight-song collection full of imagination, playful storytelling, irresistible grooves by the Little Band That Could, and plenty of opportunities to sing, dance, laugh, and explore.
The album's title has a fun backstory. For years, kids have occasionally misheard my name as "Baby Rhino," and the nickname always made me smile. It eventually felt too good not to become an album, and now I'm happy to officially embrace my newest alter ego. 😂

About the Album
From spotting a "Helicopter! Helicopter!" overhead to navigating childhood's little mishaps in "Uh-Oh," to the thrill of things that go "Up and Down," many of these songs grew from everyday moments and conversations with kids and families. The album also includes my own rootsy take on "The Monkey and the Engineer," a Grateful Dead favorite I've loved performing for years.
Our first single, "The Friendliest Dinosaur," playfully reimagines the mighty T. Rex. Inspired by recent research suggesting these dinos may have been far more social than once believed, and after 22 million years, I wrote the song to set the record straight - perhaps this misunderstood giant wasn't such a bully after all—maybe it just wanted to be your BFF!
Whether it's for playtime, a family road trip, or an impromptu dance party in the living room, Baby Rhino was made to spark curiosity, laughter, movement, and connection.
With a career that began in Americana roots and blossomed into the vibrant world of children’s music, Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could have earned accolades, national tours, and legions of loyal fans. Baby Rhino continues the tradition of making music that families can enjoy together, celebrating 25 years of joyful, genuine connection.
